How to prevent eyeshadow fall out:
“I always start with my eyes. An advantage of Amplio Eye Shadow is that it can be used wet or dry; wet for liner, or for intensifying colour and longer wearability. After taking the product on your brush make sure you tap the brush before applying it to your face. This will reduce fall out. Symmetry is key! Clean up and move on. “
What i look for in a long lasting lipstay:
“It is wonderful having a lipstay that will last most of the day but having dry lips after is just not worth it. The key is to start by using a lip scrub to remove any dry skin and then use a Lip Stylo to line the lips and colour them in. This also acts as a soft protector for your lips as it has plant based oils and waxes, natural mineral colourants and Vitamin E. Follow this with a slower drying lipstay such as Amplio Lipstay which takes 45 seconds to dry, giving you time to get it perfect, and then finish with filling in any lines with the Lip Stylo.”
What’S A GOOD daily routine AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
“After moisturizing and preparing my skin I first start by applying my eyeshadow. I blend to my desired look. For the day I like to keep it simple with a couple of colours creating a natural looking smoky eye. For the evenings I usually create a deeper smoky eye using various brown shades and finishing with the outer ends of my eye lid. I then clean up, apply an under eye cream followed by a concealer. Using a beauty blender I merge this into my skin. During the day I only use a powder foundation over my whole face. For the evening look I use a liquid foundation followed by powder foundation to finish the look and ensure an even coverage. Don’t forget your neck and ears! Once this is done I like to contour. In a humid climate I tend to stick to powder contours as through the day it absorbs into your skin, proving a longer wear. I basically draw a 3 down the sides of my face and contour my nose slightly. Using the same Amplio palette I then apply a little blush and fill in my eyebrows. I use the Lip Stylo to line and fill in my lips. During the day I only do this. If I am going out I use a lipstay over my Lip Stylo. Finally I apply mascara. Done! For an everyday look it takes me four minutes to apply. If I am going out, I really enjoy putting on makeup so it takes as long as I want to play.”
What products do you recommend to amplify ones Natural beauty?
“Blushers and Bronzers. If you don’t usually wear foundations this is something that can give your face just a little pop! With the deep light-reflecting textures, it can give a stunning glow. Some shades can even be used as a contour, eye shadow or bronzer.”
What’s most important to you when looking for a makeup?
“What is important to me is to have a brand which I feel confident is good for sensitive skin. Having sensitive skin myself, I have developed a brand that I can wear all day without any adverse effects. Also having a young daughter who loves to put on makeup, I wanted something that I wouldn’t mind her wearing.”

“All of the four palettes can be used on any skin tone depending on the look you are trying to achieve. My personal favorite though is Jewels of India. It has such a sparkly colour pop. But for lighter skins, Natural New Zealand is a more subtle look.”
Why do I need Lipstays and Lip Stylos?
“You don’t. It is a choice. I like to use both either together or separately based on what I am doing. I love the Lip Stylos! My favorite day and night colours are Dusty Rose and Naughty Nude and depending on my blush colour I choose between these. One has a pink base and the other an orange. If I am in a rush and need an evening look, I do a lighter brown eye and go straight for Rocket Red with its blue undertones (it actually makes your teeth look whiter).”
